Administrative and Student Support Officer with ICEP Europe

Permanent full-time Position

The Institute of Child Education and Psychology (ICEP) Europe, leading provider of online special education and psychology courses for teachers and allied professionals, is seeking to recruit an Administrative and Student Support Officer. This person will report to the directors and will support functions across academic advisory, marketing and operational requirements for ICEP Europe. They will work closely with other colleagues, and the role will also involve liaison with partner organisations and other stakeholders.

This position offers the opportunity to work within a well-respected and growing company with excellent track record in delivering professional development courses and University accredited courses to the education community internationally.

Location: This position will involve a blend of remote and onsite working in our office in Maynooth, Co Kildare.

Role and Responsibilities

· Assist and provide student support throughout the student life-cycle from application, enrolment to programme completion

· Assist with academic advisory services, and support student feedback

· Handling face-to-face, telephone and email queries

· Assist with marketing/student recruitment activities

· Supporting and maintaining key operational processes

· Assist with implementation and monitoring of quality assurance mechanisms

· Create and update databases and contribute to reports

· Liaise with other departments and stakeholders, both internal and external.

Key Requirements:

· At least 1 years’ experience in an office setting, preferably with a customer service focus.

· Excellent MS computing skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

· Excellent communication and organisation skills

· Hons BA degree or equivalent.

Person Specification:

Candidates should hold an honours degree (or equivalent) and be able to demonstrate a track record in administration/customer service. Experience of working within the higher education sector would be an advantage. Experience of marketing would also be beneficial to the role. She/he must be capable of making decisions and identifying and implementing solutions to problems.

Salary and Applications

Salary: Starting at €25,000 per year
