Teaching Gifted & Talented Students: A Podcast

Dr. Margaret O’Donnell is an expert academic in special education at ICEP Europe and currently lectures online and face-to-face on how to effectively meet the needs of pupils who are exceptionally able and how to ensure that these pupils receive an appropriate and challenging educational experience in school.

Margaret was recently a guest on the Teach Middle East podcast on the topic of Gifted and Talented Students.  This podcast episode aims to further our understanding of the learning needs of pupils regarded as exceptionally able. It discusses the characteristics of exceptionally able learners, effective assessment and teaching strategies and in addition, it also looks at the development of a school policy to guide practice.
