Welcome to Our New UEL Students!

Last week, we were delighted to welcome a new intake of students on to our Masters in Special & Additional Learning Needs, in partnership with the University of East London.  We have a diverse group from different backgrounds and countries including primary and post-primary.

This term, our students will develop new skills and interventions for a range of areas of special education.  We’d like to wish everyone the very best of luck with their studies this year!

We pride ourselves in building relationships with our students and our excellent online support is something that can be expected throughout your journey with us.

Students will also get access to more engaging content this term.  Our content has always been information rich, but we wanted to make it more aesthetically pleasing and interactive as well as mobile responsive and accessible.  We are now using the Articulate suite of software, in particular the RISE 360 web application which allows immediate access to the latest web technologies.  Learning environments have to be adaptable so a student can use a laptop, tablet or even phone when convenient, to continue their learning.

The revised content and presentation can already be seen in the following modules: Research Methodologies, Autism, Dyslexia and Inclusion, and the rest of the modules are in the process of being updated.  We hope all students enjoy this new look and feel, and we look forward to seeing your progress on your continued journey with us.
