Rebecca Kummer

Rebecca Kummer holds a BSc (Hons) in Applied Psychology from the Technological University of the Shannon, where she graduated in 2023 being nominated student of the year.

Rebecca joined the ICEP Europe team in 2024, where she applies her knowledge of psychology, education, and research into supporting the implementation of various research projects. Additionally, she assists the team in writing and updating ICEP Europe’s courses.

As part of her BSc in Applied Psychology, Rebecca has developed a research project exploring the effects of single-task and dual-task cognitive fatigue on the working memory capacity of third level students, discussing the implications of this phenomenon of the personal and educational lives of students.

Rebecca has a wide range of research interests, including educational psychology, cognition, working memory capacity, health psychology, resilience, creativity and special educational needs.
