I completed the Applied Behaviour Analysis course earlier this year and enjoyed every bit of it. It was so informative and I am looking forward to returning to work equipped with some excellent resources to help myself and my colleagues when working with the children and supporting them in their development.
The modules were set out very clearly and easy to follow. The material was easy to understand, yet the complexity of the subject and issues that the lessons will help with was acknowledged. My tutor explained how to ensure the interventions developed are working or not and also gave us methods for how to explore more if we need to. Everything on the course had the main goal in mind: achieving our teaching goals in supporting our children in the best way possible. I’m so happy that I learned such a wealth of information.
When I applied to do this course, I had a goal in mind of how much learning, insight and skills I would achieve by the end of the course and I am delighted to say that I have learned so much more than I expected to.
The support received by Antoinette in the admin team was very helpful – she was very patient and understanding. The technical support received from Michael Armstrong in the IT team was also very helpful.
Altogether it has been a very enjoyable experience, especially under the current circumstances of social distancing which have created quite a lot of stress and uncertainty for everyone, the support by everyone at ICEP has been very reassuring for me.
