Aleksandra Szproch
Senior Research Officer
Aleksandra is the Senior Research Officer at ICEP Europe. She holds a BA (Hons) in Psychology and an MSc (Hons) in Psychology (Research), both from Maynooth University, where she also worked as a psychology tutor.
Aleksandra’s primary duties relate to the management of ICEP Europe’s research portfolio and the successful implementation of both national and international research projects. In addition, her role also involves supporting the academic team by teaching across a number of ICEP Europe’s online courses and assisting in the continuing process of regular content updating and maintenance.
Aleksandra has been involved in ongoing research in areas including health and wellbeing, resilience, decision-making, nature-based solutions, positive behaviour support, and online learning. She has presented her work at national conferences and university research days. Her research has also been published in the Journal of Psychosocial Oncology and the Irish Journal of Education.
Aleksandra’s research interests include but are not limited to, decision-making, regret, inclusion, health and wellbeing, quality of life and various aspects of positive psychology like resilience and gratitude.
