Aleksandra Szproch
Senior Research Officer
Aleksandra Szproch holds a BA (Hons) in Psychology and an MSc (Hons) in Psychology (Research), both from Maynooth University, where she also worked as a psychology tutor.
Aleksandra joined the research team at ICEP Europe where she is assisting in the implementation of a range of research projects as well as the writing and updating of ICEP’s online courses.
As part of her MSc degree, Aleksandra has been involved in a research project concerned with the wellbeing of cancer survivors in Ireland, focusing on exploring how post-treatment decisional regret affects cancer survivors and how this phenomenon can be mitigated. She has presented the findings of this project at national conferences and university research days. Her research has also been published in the Journal of Psychosocial Oncology.
Aleksandra’s research interests include, but are not limited to, decision making, regret, inclusion, health and wellbeing, quality of life and various aspects of positive psychology like resilience and gratitude.
